This tablescape showcased at Inspired Beginnings 2022 at Conrad Hotel Manila depicts a scene in the meadow featuring handmade paper flowers, oversized organza cosmos, and a geometric deer done in 160gsm parchment paper.
Inspired by Christopher Marlowe's poem "The Passionate Shepherd to His Love" Gerry Rosales, the creator of ThePaperblooms envisions a wedding reception table with a vignette of the meadow in mind. Wild flowers gracefully dancing with the wind; lush greens with whites, and neutral colored flowers to feast the eyes, a deer grazing freely on a bright noon day.
A handful of flowers like icelandic poppies, dahlia and cosmos are emulated in crepe paper for this project. Moreover, it also featured foxgloves, which go along with the tall grasses.
Another interesting feature in the tablescape is the addition of a geometric deer. Done on 160gsm parchment paper, it serves as the focal point of the design. Situated just at the rear of the deer are three oversized cosmos flowers.
